Shandhi F. C Convent

Starting of the Convent     FCC sisters belonging to Assisi Province Thrissur arrived at Nayagave on 20th December 1974 at the request of Most Rev. Gratian Mundadan CMI. Nayaga...ve is a remote small village surrounded by about 42 villages. It was great need of the local people to get medical aid and health care as expressed by Mr. Om kar Tyagi through Most Rev. Gratian Mundadan.   That prompted the sisters reach this interior village. The first batch of four sisters led by M. Mary Agnes started living in the newly built convent on 24th January 1975.
